Launching the consumer banking platform for Goldman Sachs

To launch the project we decided to conduct user research in the form of “co-creation sessions.” In groups of 4-5 we demonstrated medium-fidelity wires of key moments in the product journey and encouraged participants to voice their opinions and sketch ideas in response to the stimuli. In this example we were questioning whether users prefer to search for products in a way similar to eCommerce or through a conversational interface.
As a synthesis of the research we identified our baseline design principles as well as two different approaches on how to interpret that principle. Reviewing the results we ultimately decided that approach B, in which the product provides less direct hand-holding throughout the experience would be best for our user base.
