I have been lucky over the course of my career to work in environments that have been accepting and celebrating of my queer identity. Passing on that gift and creating spaces where LGBTQIA+ employees feel welcomed and authentically celebrated has always been a passion of mine which is why in the summer of 2021 I jumped at the opportunity to join the D&I planning committee tasked with planning a Pride event for the Klarna Berlin office.
Responsibilities:
Part of 8 person planning committee responsible for developing event agenda and full coordination
Designed and coordinated production of official merch
Sourced items from local queer artists for raffle
Coordinated with vendors for food, entertainment and managed overall budget
